Celebration is paying attention and calling attention to the goodness of God in my right-now life.
Today I woke up and met my running group for a 5K run. The sky was still quiet, the sun was starting to rise, and I was reminded again what a gift it is to move my body each and every day.
I am thankful for a flexible work schedule and the gift of working from home. This morning, I took my oldest to Creative Camp at church, where he is learning about graphic design and using his gifts to glorify God. I am so grateful to be a part of a church that invests in the next generation!
After work, we celebrated summer by making dirt pudding with Oreos and sour gummy worms. Nothing fancy, just pudding cups, messy counters, and a little bit of ordinary summer joy.
God’s goodness is not always loud or dramatic. Sometimes it looks like sunrise miles, flexible work, a kid growing in his gifts, and gummy worms in chocolate pudding.
